IΓÇÖm going to be using the text lightray here, to get you started. Once youΓÇÖre ready, using the text tool to type out the word you wish to create. For this example I used 18-pt Arial and put two spaces in between each letter. The spacing helps to distinguish each light from the other at a latter point in the effect. Align the text to the center of the stage (ctrl-k) and then break it apart into fills (ctrl-b). The letters are now ready to be turned into individual lights.
